Good question. It depends on their age, breed & expected adult size. A Saint Bernard is a puppy for a lot bigger than a Chihuahua for instance. Just by a little bit!

Hell yeah. Absolutely. All of our recipes are complete and balanced diet on their lonesome, but you’re welcome to mix it up. You can start with choosing a mix-feeding plan at checkout, or switch in your account area down the track.

If you are planning to mix feed, we do recommend dishing up Raw separately and when you can, supervise. So if your pup hasn’t gobbled it up in an hour, you can chuck it out to be safe.

We’ve got large breed pups & their fast-growing bones covered too, but only on our Turkey & Beef and Salmon & Mackerel recipes.

Our Kangaroo & Lamb recipes have calcium:phosphorus ratios slightly too high for us to recommend, but we’ll tell you at checkout if we don’t think either recipe is right for your dog.

Yep, puppies will love this stuff. In fact, there are several emerging studies that suggest being fed raw as a pup can result in a lower incidence of diarrhoea, skin allergies and atopy when they’re adults.

That said, we don’t recommend it if you’ve got a puppy with a compromised immune system. If we think your dog might not be suitable, we’ll flag it at checkout to ensure that no dog at risk purchases without checking with their vet first.

Our mates are used to the same meal, day in and day out. A sudden change can stress out their digestive system and get you diving for the poo bag. So we recommend switching over 7 days for kibble or 14 days for Raw (holding off tasty treats or sneaky table scraps during the process) for the smoothest switch.

Adult food is just a worse version of puppy food, not requiring as much protein and DHA. But a healthy adult dog will thrive on high protein diets and DHA comes from salmon oil, so a really good puppy food should be ideal for a dog through their adult lives.

A puppy is technically an adult for feeding requirements once they physically mature and stop growing in height.

Your pup will have their own plan where you can update their weight. We’ll send little reminders every 2 months if you haven’t updated them while they’re in their growth phase.
